Terms and Conditions
The legally binding version of these Terms and Conditions (and Legal Notice) is the Spanish one, available at /legal/terminos. This English text is an informational summary; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails. A full English translation is being prepared.
Summary
- Provider: Calufo y Pelete S.L. (NIF B19748037), Calle Inocencio de la Rosa 18, Tegueste, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. Registered at the Mercantile Registry of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Volume 1, Sheet TF-72624, 1st entry, 11 July 2024). Contact: via the contact form.
- Service: a SaaS platform for independent language teachers, operated under lingufolio.com and lingufolio.app.
- Accounts: Teachers must be 18+. Students access via their own account created from the teacher's invitation; under-14s cannot hold an account and their data is managed by the teacher.
- Plans and billing: free plan plus paid plans (monthly/annual), auto-renewing. Displayed prices include VAT, collected via the payment provider (which may act as Merchant of Record). Refunds only in limited cases, including the 14-day withdrawal right.
- Content and AI: the teacher's own content remains theirs; materials generated by LinguFolio (including AI-generated ones) are LinguFolio property under a restricted, non-transferable licence — they may be used with the teacher's own students but not redistributed, publicly published or commercialised.
- Data protection: the teacher is the controller of their students' data and LinguFolio the processor (GDPR art. 28), governed by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). See the Privacy Policy.
- Liability, law and venue: liability capped at the amount paid in the prior 3 months; Spanish law; courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, without prejudice to consumers' mandatory rights.
