How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT doesn't know your students. LinguFolio keeps each one's history — what you covered, what they struggle with, what's next — and uses it in every summary and every material. It's not a chat: it's the memory of your teaching.
Is it legal to record my lessons?
Yes, with your student's consent. You ask before recording (we give you a template), and the audio is deleted after processing. No permission, no recording.
Does it work with Preply, iTalki or my own lessons?
It works with any lesson: video calls with the extension, in person by uploading the audio. It doesn't depend on any platform.
What if a student changes teachers?
Their record is theirs and portable: they can take it along. If their new teacher uses LinguFolio, they can continue the history where you left off.
Which languages does it support?
For now, Spanish. We'll add languages based on what you ask for.
Do I need to install anything?
Only the Chrome extension if you want to record live. If you'd rather upload audio manually, there's nothing to install.
